Kudos to the Sanibel city council for managing to tighten their budget and reduce the tax millage rate this year. This Saturday, September 15, is the Ocean Conservancy’s 27th Annual Coastal Cleanup. SCCF (Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation) is spear-heading the local island effort to rid the coastlines and waterways of marine litter, pollution, and debris.
