The process of keeping Blind Pass open continues. Beginning today, the Lee County Department of Natural Resources’ contractor will begin maintenance dredging along the inside of Blind Pass (north side of bridge). Last spring almost 500 registered participants and (300 plus unregistered) gathered at Bowman’s Beach to break the world record for “largest treasure hunt game.” Everyone joined together to do the “Sanibel Stoop” to hunt for sea shells.
