The annual hibiscus show at the Araba Shriners Center in Ft. Myers is this Sunday, June 5 from 1:00-4:00 PM. This event showcases hundreds of different types and colors of hibiscus and many are for sale at reasonable prices. There are always some very rare and beautiful hybrid colors. Congratulations to SCCF for reaching their fund-raising goal of $5.3 million to purchase and restore the historic Bailey Homestead on Periwinkle. They plan on restoring the home and creating a Conservation History center to promote island conservation and wildlife management.
