Our on-island school was just rated #1 in the state by the Florida Department of Education. It was the top rated combination school for elementary and middle school students. I just read an interesting article from SCCF about last years nesting season. 2011 proved to be the sixth best year for nesting since 1996 on Sanibel and Captiva Islands.
