About the Farmer’s Markets

The Sanibel Island Farmer’s Market was established in 2008 and has been a staple of the community ever since. You can find tons of local produce, seafood, meats, cheeses, flowers, breads, and more!

The farmer’s market runs on Sundays from October through May from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. You can find parking at Sanibel City Hall (handicap parking is available here as well), BIG Arts, Sanibel Library, or Schoolhouse Theater. The market is located at Sanibel City Hall, 800 Dunlop Road. Keep in mind that the market does not allow dogs.

The Captiva Island Farmers Market is also a popular destination for shoppers. Here, you’ll find a wide range of local seafood, produce, cheeses, pickles, flowers and native plants, soaps, candles, handmade crafts, and more.

This farmer’s market runs Tuesdays from November through April from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. You can park in the adjacent plazas to the market’s location at South Seas Island Resort, 5400 Plantation Road.
