On Sanibel and Captiva a group of local citizens and business people have banded together to send care packages to as many local military personnel serving overseas as possible. The San-Cap Campaign is working with Lee Memorial Health System Military Support Unit (LMHS Mil-Sup), a 501(c)3 charitable organization, which has ability and expertise to package and chip the care packets directly to th troops. They have also arranged to purchase the items at a 15% savings which means more for our troops.
