Sanibel – A Good Place to Live
If you’re looking for a good place to live, either full time or part time, you should consider Sanibel. There is a broad array of properties with a wide range of prices – from two-hundred thousand to multi-million dollar houses or condominiums. It has all the services you should expect in a residential community, plus a strong retail structure, banking support, and an award winning school. It has many pleasures to offer from the miles of white sand beaches to golf and tennis facilities, great restaurants and art pursuits such as theatres, museums and art galleries. An important part of Sanibel’s charm is its location. It’s an island three miles out in the Gulf of Mexico connected to the mainland by a causeway with beautiful views of the surrounding waters. Unique to Sanibel is their sanctuary lands. Over half of the island is set aside as sanctuaries, not available for development. This tends to protect and enhance the islands real estate values. The island real estate market has seen its property value grow four times that of the state GDP over the past five years (12/15). It’s a good place to live, maybe in a place such as Sanibel Siesta.
