Sanibel Island – Home Sweet Home
Sanibel is a great place to live, really fun and easy to enjoy. It’s small enough – only 10 miles long – so that everything is convenient. But, it’s large enough to provide everything to meet all your needs. The fun part of living on Sanibel starts with the world famous, white sand beaches, then there are golf and tennis facilities, miles of bike paths, wonderful boating and fishing, and the excellent restaurants. It also has a strong and varied retail presence and banking support. There are churches, an excellent school, and a vibrant art community including galleries, museums and theatres. All the makings of an active residential community.. Who wouldn’t love to live here. It has its own government, local utilities and municipal services. The real estate environment is good since over half of the island is sanctuary land – not to be developed. This tends to protect and enhance the islands real estate values which is why it can be so easy to enjoy. But most of all Sanibel has a lot of friendly, unassuming people who have a strong sense of community pride and love living here. They live in houses, villas or condominiums such as Sanddollar.
Sanddollar Condominiums
The Sanddollar Condominiums are a relatively small community with only 36 units in three buildings. It’s located mid-island on Middle Gulf Drive – close to many of the restaurants, shops and other island attractions by a short drive or bike ride. There are 2 and 3 bedroom units with up to 1,600 square feet including a screened lanai that overlooks the waters of the gulf with stunning views. The buildings are directly on the beach so your beach-time is only steps away from your front door. Each unit is fully furnished and well equipped so the need for an investment in furniture or other household goods is minimized. And there are a number of things you can do when the spirit moves you. There’s a heated pool, 3 tennis courts a BBQ. Sanddollar makes a great island home – your own home sweet home.
