Sanibel & Captiva – A Good Place to Be
These two islands are the perfect place to settle down and enjoy the easy pace of island life and the quiet pleasure it brings. They have none of the busy things like billboards, traffic lights, chain stores or tall buildings. They are clutter-free, self-govorned and well managed for your comfort. It has two-lane roads, beautiful white sand beaches, miles of bike paths and lush tropical foliage. There are houses and condominiums that are as big or as small as you want — and lots of friendly neighbors. And there’s always something to do – fishing and boating is great, golf courses and tennis courts are aplenty. The museums and art galleries are worthwhile and interesting. The shops are well stocked and the restaurants are excellent. The islands are admired for their land use. Over half of the island has been set aside as sanctuary land to protect the wildlife and the natural island bounties. That also protects and enhances the value of the houses and condominiums. A house or condominium on Sanibel or Captiva is more than just your island home. It’s a good place to be.
Island Beach Club Condominiums
The Island Beach Club is a nice, condominium community of six buildings on West Gulf Drive. It fronts on the Gulf of Mexico and has 75 two-bedroom units. All of the units are either directly on the gulf or have a lovely view of the gulf. In either event the beach and the gulf is only steps away for your fun time – swimming, sunning or shelling. All the units are tastefully decorated and fully equipped so making them your home is a done deal. There are amenities for you to use and enjoy – a heated pool, shuffleboard, BBQ’s and two tennis courts at Casa Ybel next door. Each unit has a one car garage with storage space. This is a really nice neighborhood with good value. The average sale price has grown an average of 16% a year over the past five years (YTD 12/2015). It’s a good, well-done condominium!
