This weekend is the annual sales tax holiday, August 12-14. It’s supposed to help defray the costs of new clothes and supplies for school kids, but this year Lee County started back to school early…today in fact. Most clothing items under $75 and school supplies under $15 are exempt from the sales tax so do your shopping this coming weekend.
