Captiva’s holiday celebrations continue this weekend with Cuban Dance and Jazz Concerts tonight and tomorrow night. There is also a street parade on Andy Rosse Lane Saturday starting at 4:00PM. In addition there are lectures sponsored by SCCF at various times during the day on Saturday. At least the weather is forecast to be good this weekend. Last Friday night bad weather did not deter the performers and spectators who attended the Sunset Arias on the beach across from Tween Waters. They enjoyed a performance of opera music on the beach amidst intermittent rain showers. Our 80 degree weather is forecast for the next several days. You gotta love living in Southwest Florida!
