Sanibel – Just a Nice Place to Be
Sanibel Island is known for the good times it offers with all its fun-in-the-sun activities – wonderful beaches, great boating and plenty of room for golf or tennis. It also has art galleries, museums and theatres for the quieter times and lots of excellent restaurants and shops. That’s what Sanibel offers, but it’s not what Sanibel is. Sanibel is a friendly residential community where the needs of its citizens are met with all the essential government services, utility services, retail and banking services. It has a strong real estate market that has grown four times faster than the state GDP over the past five years. And the real estate values are relatively secure since over half the island is set aside as sanctuary land and protected from development. It is truly a nice place to be and there are many real estate opportunities – a house or a condominium such as Mariner Pointe.

Mariner Pointe Condominiums
Mariner Pointe is a really nice community on the east end of the island. It is on a peninsula surrounded by the waters of San Carlos Bay so it’s like being on a cruise ship when sitting on your screened lanai. The mornings are wonderful as you watch the sunrise and see the dolphins cavorting just a few feet away. There are ten low-rise buildings with 100 units of one to three bedrooms ranging up to 1,474 square feet. Some are townhouse units, on two floors. The amenities for your use are two heated pools, two tennis courts, BBQ grills, a fishing pier and boat dockage. The dockage has a separate fee. Mariner Pointe is a nice neighborly place to be that’s particularly good for boaters.
