The Ding Darling National Wildlife Preserve has a new video. The project was made possible by a marketing grant from BP-Amoco. It and a shorter, 30-second version will be broadcast in the off-season via in-room hotel networks and Comcast media buys. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzEfZyU7sNs

If you haven’t been through the park lately, you should go.  The cold weather up north has brought many species down here to enjoy our warm weather.  White pelicans and roseate spoonbills are just a few of the numerous species you can see at any given time.  Early morning low tides are the best time for viewing most wildlife, although the gators prefer midday to sun themselves on the banks.
