Bank of the Islands has officially opened its new branch on Captiva next to the US Post Office.  It is a full service branch offering all banking services including loans and an ATM.  Captivans can now bike to the bank instead of driving to Sanibel…a real plus with the seasonal traffic as bad as it is now. Sanibel’s Shell Museum Supports Military

Luc Century Mural

I recently saw some pictures of Luc Century’s new etched mural he has done for FGCU.  It’s 30 x 10 feet etched in porcelain tiles and is called Water Symphony.
