Ding Darling Transportation Meeting

New Sanibel Restaurant

The Corner Grill has finally opened on the corner of Tarpon Bay Road and Periwinkle.  It has been totally remodeled inside and out and looks great.  They have a very extensive menu with good prices.  My lunch was good, but the service was slow, although the place was packed.   Hopefully, service will improve once they iron out the new opening kinks. Luc Century Mural

I recently saw some pictures of Luc Century’s new etched mural he has done for FGCU.  It’s 30 x 10 feet etched in porcelain tiles and is called Water Symphony. Sanibel Real Estate Stats

Condo and Lot sales are doing well, house sales are lagging.  Here are the end of year stats:  Condo Sales- 120 closed in 2010 compared to 87 in 2009 and 95 in 2008.  Lot Sales- 21 closed in 2010 compared to 11 in 2009 and 12 in 2008.  House Sales- 123 closed in 2010 compared to 144 in 2009 and 148 in 2008.
