According to a recent article in the Naples News, the real estate market in Southwest Florida is about to explode. That is the opinion of Local Market Monitor, a real estate research firm that conducted a second quarter survey tracking 20 Florida metropolitan areas. Based on data indicating growth in the job market, shortage of new and resale homes and the limited amount of foreclosures, Ingo Winzer, president and founder of Local Market Monitor forecasts Fort Myers area prices will increase 25% over the next three years.
