National Letter Carrier Food Drive

Mark your calendars! The nation’s largest single day food drive called “Stamp Out Hunger” will be held Saturday, May 11. Most any kind of food can be donated as long as it is unopened and in unbreakable containers. Place them by your mailbox and the mail carriers and their helpers will pick them up. If you are returning north prior to this date, contributions can be left at any area post office. Food collected in Lee County will be distributed by Harry Chapin Food Bank and several other local agencies. Clean out your cupboards and help this great project.
