Galloway Captiva Triathlon

The third annual Captiva Triathlon will be held September 14 and 15 and is a fun event for the whole family at South Seas Resort. However, if you haven’t yet entered, it’s too late. Both the Saturday kids race and Sunday adult competition are sold out with waiting lists. This means that all proceeds will once again go to CCMI (Community Cooperative Ministries, Inc) to help fund their backpack and school pantry programs for Lee County. The adult competition includes a quarter-mile swim, 10 miles of biking and a 3.1 mile run. Come out and support the athletes and this worthy fundraising event.
