There have been 171 closed homes sales  so far  with 20 more under contract, compared to 179 all of last year.  The average sales price is up slightly from 2011…a good sign for our market. The numbers of sales this year is up in all categories.  For 1/1/12-9/1/12 there have been 153 closed condo sales with 10 more under contract.  For the same period in 2011 there were 134 closed sales.  Similar numbers in the house sales category with 153 sold this year (23 under contract) compared to 141 for the same time period last year. ... Sanibel Visitors

This wonderful place we live in continues to be a big attraction to vacationers. The Chamber has reported that the number of visitors in January was up 16% over a year ago. Sundial Complex Sold
